Antique Art Deco Streamline Moderne Chrome Sofa & Lounge Chair by Kem Weber for Royalchrome in Black Italian Leather – Set of 2
An exceptional American Art Deco Streamline Moderne sofa and lounge chair set, designed by Kem Weber and manufactured by Royalchrome, showcasing the bold architectural lines and innovative tubular metal construction characteristic of the Machine Age.
This striking two-piece ensemble features continuous, gracefully curved chrome tubular frames with sculptural cantilever-style bases, sweeping rounded arms, and sleek black armrests. The exposed metal construction creates an elegant, open silhouette that beautifully captures the streamlined sophistication of early 20th-century modernist furniture.
Newly reupholstered in luxurious full-grain black Italian leather, the sofa and coordinating lounge chair feature generously cushioned seats and backs accented with contrasting white piping. The rich black leather against the polished chrome creates a dramatic yet timeless aesthetic.
The three-seat sofa features individually upholstered seat and back cushions, while the matching lounge chair echoes its sculptural curves and refined proportions. Together, they form an exceptional seating arrangement for a sophisticated living room, private library, executive office, or collector's interior.
The original Royalchrome manufacturer's decal remains visible on the tubular metal frame.
A distinctive example of American Art Deco design, combining the glamour of the Streamline Moderne movement with the comfort and craftsmanship of a beautifully restored vintage seating ensemble.
Newly reupholstered in full-grain black Italian leather with contrasting white piping.
