Antique Arts and Crafts Hand Forged Wrought Iron Five-Light Floor Candelabrum

Antique Arts & Crafts Hand Forged Wrought Iron Five-Light Floor Candelabrum

A striking antique hand-forged wrought iron five-light floor candelabrum, beautifully executed with sculptural scrollwork, twisted iron elements and hand-worked foliate detailing.

The tall central standard features a dramatic spiral-twisted shaft, rising to an elaborate circular crown constructed with traditional riveted ironwork. Five individually elevated candle platforms surround the crown, each terminating in a broad, hand-formed dish with softly undulating edges. Graceful iron scrolls and twisted pendant elements create movement throughout the upper portion of the piece.

The craftsmanship continues down the standard with forged collars and decorative ironwork, terminating in an impressive three-legged base embellished with layered hand-forged leaves. The gently twisted legs end in broad circular feet, providing both stability and a strong sculptural silhouette.

The dark naturally aged iron surface gives the piece tremendous character and highlights its hand-forged construction. With its combination of Arts & Crafts craftsmanship, Gothic Revival influence and medieval-inspired ironwork, this substantial floor candelabrum makes an exceptional architectural accent.

Perfect beside a fireplace, in an entry hall, library, dining room or as a dramatic candlelit centerpiece in an Old World, Gothic, Arts & Crafts or eclectic interior.
