Vintage Italian Murano Red White & Gold Art Glass Freeform Catchall Ashtray
A striking vintage Italian Murano art glass freeform catchall dish or ashtray, beautifully hand formed with a dramatic sculptural folded rim.
The substantial glass body features swirling red and opaque white glass accented with shimmering gold-toned metallic inclusions, creating wonderful depth and movement throughout the piece. The organic, asymmetrical form rises and folds around the perimeter, giving the dish a sculptural quality from every angle.
Beautiful as a functional catchall, ashtray or jewelry dish, it is equally impressive displayed simply as a decorative Murano art glass object on a cocktail table, console, desk or bar.
A bold example of Mid-Century Italian art glass, combining vibrant color, texture and freeform craftsmanship.
