Monumental Restored Chicago Architectural Salvage Mahogany Pier / Hall Mirror
An monumental Chicago architectural salvage pier or hall mirror, expertly restored while preserving its impressive architectural presence and historic character. Crafted from solid mahogany, the frame features a richly carved Neoclassical pediment adorned with ribbon-tied laurel swags, a classical urn finial, and finely detailed Corinthian capitals above fluted pilasters.
The expansive original mirror plate is framed by substantial architectural moldings, while the lower section incorporates a gracefully shaped display shelf supported by a carved center bracket above paneled millwork. The warm mahogany finish and exceptional craftsmanship reflect the quality of late 19th- to early 20th-century American architectural woodwork.
Originally salvaged from a distinguished Chicago residence or commercial building, this remarkable piece has been professionally restored, retaining the beauty, scale, and craftsmanship that made it a defining architectural element. Its monumental proportions make it an extraordinary statement piece for a grand foyer, library, fireplace overmantel, boutique hotel, luxury retail space, or sophisticated residential interior.
A highly decorative example of Chicago architectural salvage, offering timeless elegance and exceptional craftsmanship.
