Striking large-scale cityscape on canvas, signed “Franco” at the lower right. The composition layers architectural silhouettes in charcoal, taupe, chocolate brown, and warm bronze tones, accented by gold-colored building façades and precise grids of windows.
Overlapping skyscrapers create depth and a rhythmic skyline, balancing crisp geometric detail with broad passages of muted color. Horizontal bands across the foreground anchor the composition, while the slim gold-tone frame complements its warm palette.
Measuring five feet wide, this substantial artwork makes an impressive focal point above a sofa, credenza, or office console.
CIRCA Mid to Late 20th Century, estimated.
DIMENSIONS H 48” W 60” D 1.5”
CONDITION Scattered surface marks and small areas of apparent paint loss, with scratches and wear to the gold-tone frame. A small patch is visible on the reverse of the canvas, suggesting a previous repair.
