Renaissance Revival Style Fireplace Mantel Surround With Limestone-Style Finish
An impressive architectural fireplace surround featuring a warm, textured limestone-style finish and richly detailed classical ornament. A broad stepped mantel shelf crowns a continuous band of repeating leaf decoration, supported by substantial scrolling corbels.
Raised foliate motifs adorn the front supports, while the sides feature decorative scrollwork and floral relief. Beaded detailing and stepped plinth bases complete its sculptural design.
The surround has hollow molded construction with walls approximately 1″ thick; the exact material composition is unconfirmed. Its stone-like surface and dimensional ornament bring an Old World presence to a living room, library, or decorative fireplace setting.
