Standing nearly five feet tall, this early-20th-century Balinese Buddha and Dewi Tara pair has the peaceful presence of sculptures that once lived quietly in a garden. Carved from incredibly heavy natural stone, their surfaces have weathered beautifully, with subtle discoloration and lichen-like growth that suggest years of outdoor exposure. Their serene expressions and almost human scale give them a calming presence when you stand beside them. The Buddha shows a visible crack through the nose, which remains firmly in place and adds to the honest age of the piece. Substantial, weathered and incredibly peaceful, they feel less like decoration and more like they’ve simply been part of the landscape for generations.

CONDITION: Good antique condition with natural weathering, patina, and lichen-like growth from previous outdoor exposure. Buddha has a visible crack through the nose, but it remains intact and stable.
