A striking pair of Art Deco lounge chairs designed by KEM Weber for Lloyd Manufacturing Company, distinguished by their streamlined metal construction and unusual springer-style bases.

Each chair features a sculptural frame combining tubular and flat-bar metal, creating the clean, machine-age geometry associated with Weber’s modernist designs. The open framework continues around the backs, where exposed vertical supports give the chairs an especially architectural appearance. Curved metal arms terminate in contrasting upholstered arm pads, while the spring-form bases create a light, almost cantilevered profile.

The chairs have been professionally reupholstered in high-end Edelman Luster leather in “Pond-Teal,” a sophisticated blue-green tone with a subtle sheen. Contrasting white piping and white upholstered armrests accentuate the strong geometry of the frames and give the pair a crisp, tailored finish.

Viewed from the rear, the chairs are every bit as interesting as from the front, with their exposed framework making them particularly well suited for placement away from a wall in a living room, library, office or conversation area.
