Vintage Baker Furniture Federal Style Inlaid Mahogany Starburst Side Table with Drawer
A beautifully crafted vintage Federal style side table by Baker Furniture, featuring an unusually shaped top with a raised gallery edge and dramatic radial starburst inlay.
The richly figured mahogany top is composed of contrasting veneers radiating outward from the center, creating a striking sunburst effect. The shaped top features gracefully concave sides and projecting corners, giving the table a distinctive architectural silhouette.
The table is fitted with a single wide drawer offering practical storage and is raised on four slender tapered legs with delicate Federal-style detailing. An original Baker Furniture metal label is present.
Elegant and refined, this piece works beautifully as a side table, occasional table, writing table, entry table, or bedside table and is an excellent example of Baker’s interpretation of traditional American Federal design.
