Victorian Aesthetic Movement Hand-Painted Bird and Floral Two-Tier Table

An exquisite antique Victorian Aesthetic Movement two-tier occasional table featuring elaborate hand-painted botanical and bird motifs, beautifully figured wood grain, and elegantly sculpted scroll supports with delicate gold detailing.

The octagonal-inspired upper surface showcases an enchanting composition of flowering wisteria, delicate blossoms, and birds in flight, rendered in soft gold, ivory, green, and muted blue tones. The lower tier features a beautifully detailed perched bird surrounded by flowering branches, adding depth and artistry to the design.

Both tiers display warm wood tones with striking natural grain patterns, complemented by gracefully curved ebonized supports accented with fine gilt decoration. The combination of naturalistic imagery, ornamental details, and architectural form reflects the influence of Japonisme and the late Victorian Aesthetic Movement.

A decorative and functional statement piece, this elegant table is ideal for use as a side table, accent table, display stand, or occasional table in a living room, library, entryway, or sophisticated collector's interior.
