An exceptional and rare Mid-Century Modern sofa and loveseat set designed by Adrian Pearsall for Comfort Designs, Inc., circa 1970s. This striking two-piece collection combines sculptural chrome flat-bar frames, richly textured natural cork side panels, and luxurious new Italian camel mohair upholstery.
Each piece features a bold architectural silhouette, with substantial rectangular arms incorporating natural cork panels framed in sleek polished chrome. The organic texture of the cork contrasts beautifully with the reflective metal framework, creating a sophisticated balance between Brutalist design and refined modernism.
Professionally reupholstered in-house by Vintage Grind House, the sofa and loveseat feature luxurious double-thick Italian mohair in a rich camel tone. The plush upholstery provides exceptional softness and warmth, complementing the natural cork while enhancing the clean geometric lines of the original design.
Generously proportioned seat cushions and coordinating back cushions provide comfortable lounging, while the distinctive chrome frames create a beautiful floating effect.
An extraordinary example of 1970s American modernist furniture, this rare coordinating set makes a stunning statement in a sophisticated living room, designer loft, gallery, or collected interior.
Newly and professionally reupholstered in luxurious double-thick Italian camel mohair by Vintage Grind House.
