Italian Postmodern Sectional Sofa in the Style of Vico Magistretti – Two Pieces for Reupholstery

With its expansive proportions and dramatic angles, this custom Italian sectional makes an architectural statement. Two upholstered sections come together in an open U-shaped arrangement, drawing the seating inward to create a spacious setting for conversation.

Exceptionally wide arms extend outward at each end, while a broad upholstered ledge continues around the back, giving the sofa a striking horizontal profile. Individual seat and back cushions soften the angular outline. Its distinctive rear silhouette makes it especially appealing for placement in the center of a room, where the design can be appreciated from every side.

The two sections can also be separated into individual sofas, as shown, offering flexibility in a large living room or lounge. The original red corduroy brings warm color and a finely ribbed texture to the sculptural form.
