Vintage Romantic Figural Garden Birdbath with Maiden & Sunflower Basin
A charming vintage figural garden birdbath depicting a young maiden seated among a profusion of sculpted sunflowers while supporting an oversized sunflower-form basin above. The wonderfully detailed composition features flowing hair, softly draped clothing, dimensional blossoms and foliage, creating a whimsical and romantic garden presence.
The piece has a substantial cast stone-like composition with a softly weathered finish and naturally developed patina that enhances its vintage character. Both sculptural and functional, the large flower-form basin crowns the figure while the richly modeled sunflower base gives the piece visual interest from every angle.
A beautiful decorative addition to a garden, courtyard, terrace, conservatory, or covered patio, particularly well suited to Romantic, French Country, Cottage, and traditional garden settings.
