Antique Victorian Hand-Painted Music Cabinet with Brass Gallery and Beveled Mirror
An elegant antique giltwood music cabinet featuring beautifully hand-painted decorations throughout. The door is adorned with a charming figural scene depicting a violinist and pianist in a romantic garden setting, while additional painted landscapes decorate the sides and a floral bouquet embellishes the top.
The cabinet is accented by a pierced brass gallery, decorative brass relief mounts, turned columns, and a beveled mirror beneath the shaped top. Inside are multiple shelves originally designed for storing sheet music, making it equally suitable today as a decorative storage cabinet.
Rich in character and craftsmanship, this piece is a wonderful example of late Victorian decorative furniture and would make a striking addition to a living room, music room, library, or entryway.
