An iconic 1950s Heywood-Wakefield Ashcraft revolving coffee table, featuring a round Northern yellow birch top supported by the collection's distinctive faux-bamboo ash base. The sculptural base was designed to capture the relaxed appearance of rattan and bamboo while retaining the substantial craftsmanship associated with Heywood-Wakefield furniture. The table's unusual revolving/swivel top makes this a particularly fun and functional example from the Ashcraft collection.
