Antique Chinese Shanxi Province Elm Wood Two-Door Storage Cabinets with Hidden Compartments – Pair

An impressive pair of early 20th-century Chinese elm wood storage cabinets from Shanxi Province, showcasing traditional Chinese craftsmanship, beautifully grained natural wood, and understated architectural elegance.

Each cabinet features a tall, rectangular silhouette with double-paneled doors, traditional metal locking hardware, and a warm, naturally aged finish that highlights the character of the elm wood.

Opening the doors reveals a thoughtfully arranged interior with two drawers, open shelving, and a concealed storage chest beneath the lower compartment. The combination of generous storage and hidden compartments adds both functionality and historical character to these distinctive pieces.

Standing an impressive 85 inches tall, these cabinets make a striking statement when displayed together, flanking a doorway or fireplace, or positioned separately in a living room, bedroom, or dining room. Their clean lines and rich natural wood tones complement traditional Chinese interiors as beautifully as contemporary, rustic, and modern spaces.

Available as a pair or individually. Please contact us for individual pricing.
