Deep brown glaze gives this early 20th-century Martaban jar a rich, earthy surface, with natural tonal variation that settles into the raised decoration and makes every detail feel more pronounced. Dragons wrap around the substantial stoneware body, while six sculpted beast-form handles circle the shoulder, giving the jar an almost mythical presence. Slight irregularities in its handmade form and centuries of subtle surface wear only add to its depth, making it feel ancient, sculptural, and remarkably full of character.
