Antique double-sided wall clock by E. Howard & Co. of Boston, presented in an impressive architectural wood case designed to project outward from the wall for visibility from either direction. Each circular dial features bold black Roman numerals, traditional black hands, and the E. Howard & Co. Boston signature. The substantial molded wood surround and triangular architectural supports give the clock a commanding presence reminiscent of early commercial, institutional, railway, or public-building clocks.
A striking piece of American horological history, equally suited as a functional timepiece, architectural element, or statement object in a residential or commercial interior. Displays attractive age-related wear and patina consistent with its history.
