French Neoclassical Empire Revival Ram's Head Marble-Top Pedestals with Gilt-Bronze Mounts - Pair

An extraordinary pair of antique French Neoclassical Empire Revival pedestal tables featuring magnificent sculptural ram's-head capitals, richly decorated wood columns, elaborate gilt-metal mounts, and beautifully shaped marble tops.

Each pedestal showcases an impressive ram's head with finely modeled facial features, curled horns, and richly textured detailing. The sculptural capitals support elegant serpentine-shaped marble tops featuring dramatic green and gray veining, framed by decorative brass-tone edging.

The substantial columns display beautiful contrasting wood inlay, accentuated by classical gilt-metal garlands, ornamental bands, and decorative detailing. Each pedestal rests upon an elaborate shaped base adorned with classical motifs, scrolling mounts, and contrasting dark accents.

The combination of sculptural animal motifs, refined woodwork, richly veined stone, and elaborate metal ornamentation creates a dramatic architectural presence reminiscent of grand 19th-century French interiors.

Perfect as decorative display pedestals for fine sculptures, porcelain, urns, floral arrangements, or important objets d'art. Equally impressive displayed together in a grand entryway, gallery, formal living room, or sophisticated collector's residence.

Sold as a pair.
