Vintage Italian Murano Style Green & Red Hand-Blown Art Glass Hat Bowl Centerpiece
A striking oversized vintage Italian style hand-blown art glass centerpiece bowl, designed in a dramatic freeform hat-shaped silhouette.
Measuring an impressive 20 inches in diameter, the translucent olive-green glass body is embellished with expressive applied green glass trailing and dimensional red, amber and multicolored glass accents. The broad undulating rim and deep central well create a sculptural hat-like form, while the applied decoration gives the piece wonderful movement, texture and visual depth.
Substantial in both scale and presence, this decorative art glass bowl makes a fabulous dining table centerpiece, fruit bowl, cocktail table accent, console accessory or standalone sculptural object.
