Decorative late Victorian fireplace fender featuring a sculptural cast iron surround with flowing relief ornament, raised circular details, and brass accents. A tubular upper rail and central ball finial complete the design, while the dark iron and mellow brass patina provide a rich contrast.
Also known as a fire kerb, this three-sided hearth surround frames the fireplace beautifully, adding period character to a traditional living room, library, or study. Its curving decorative motifs reflect Art Nouveau influence.
