Vintage Italian Renato Anatra Murano Signed Two-Piece Art Glass Dancing Couple Sculpture
A striking vintage Italian Murano art glass sculpture by renowned glass artist Renato Anatra (b. 1943), depicting an abstract male and female couple captured in an elegant dance.
This sculptural work is composed of two separate hand-formed glass figures that ingeniously interlock through the arms, creating a single dramatic composition when displayed together. The elongated figures are beautifully rendered in clear Venetian art glass with fluid, sweeping lines that give the sculpture a wonderful sense of movement, balance and energy.
The dancing couple is elevated upon a substantial cylindrical glass base, further emphasizing the transparency and sculptural quality of the work.
