Modernist Tubular Black Metal and Smoked Glass Étagères – Pair

Vintage Modernist Tubular Black Metal & Smoked Glass Étagères – Pair

These striking modernist étagères have a strong architectural presence without feeling heavy in the room. Each is constructed with a sculptural black tubular metal frame that curves around four tiers of smoked/tinted glass shelving, giving the pair a sleek, almost floating appearance.

What makes them especially interesting is the depth of the frames. At 33 inches deep, these are much more substantial than a typical narrow bookcase and look fantastic from an angle, where you really see the tubular construction and layered glass. The dark metal against the smoked glass gives them that sophisticated late-Mid-Century/Modernist look that works beautifully for displaying art, ceramics, books, or objects.

Placed together, they create an impressive wall of display space; separated, they would make equally strong architectural statements on opposite sides of a room.

Sold as a pair.
